Terms and Conditions

  1. Early Registration Rate
    In order to qualify for any ‘early registration’ rates, booking and payment must be received before the deadline date displayed in the conference website.
  2. Payments
    All bookings made prior to the conference must be paid in full to guarantee registration. Once payment has been received, a confirmation email will be sent. If payment is not made at the time of booking, registration will be unconfirmed.
  3. Substitutions & Cancellations
    Delegates may nominate an alternative person from their organization to attend up to 24 hours prior to the start of the event, at no extra charge. The cancellation charges apply as follows:
    More than 5 weeks prior to start of event: 20% of the registration fees.
    5 weeks or less prior to start of event: 100% of the registration fees.
  4. Access Requirements
    Delegates should advise of any special access requirements at the time of registration.
  5. Registration Information
    Registration information will be sent to registered delegates by email at least seven days prior to the event.  Any delegate not receiving the registration information should contact us by email to info@premc.org.
  6. Alterations of the conference Program – Cancellation/Postponement of Event
    PremC reserves the right to make alterations to the conference program, venue and timings.
    In the unlikely event of the conference is cancelled by PremC, a full refund will be made. PremC Liability will be limited to the registration fees amount paid by the delegate.
    In the event, for whatever reason, that the conference is postponed or the dates are changed, the organizers shall not be liable for any expenditure, damage or loss incurred by the delegate.
  7. Speakers
    Views expressed by speakers are their own. PremC cannot accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at the conference or in any material provided to delegates.
  8. Photography & Filming
    For promotional purposes, there may be a photographer and video production taking place during the conference. Delegates who do not wish to be filmed or recorded should advise the organizers by email to info@premc.org prior to the event.

  10. Data Protection
    By submitting registration details, delegates agree to allow PremC and companies associated with the conference to contact them regarding their services. Delegates who do not wish to receive such communications shall email info@premc.org. The contact details of registered delegates will be placed on the attendee list which will be passed to sponsoring companies and to all attendees for them to see who is at the conference for the purpose of networking and meetings. Delegates who do not wish to be included on this list should advise at the time of registration.
  11. Websites & Links
    The conference and associated PremC websites may link to other websites and networking tools provided for the convenience of the users. The contents of these websites are maintained by their owners, for which PremC takes no responsibility. Neither can responsibility be taken by PremC for contents of any website linking to the conference website.
  12. Insurance
    It is the responsibility of the delegate to arrange appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the conference. PremC cannot be held liable for any loss, liability or damage to personal property.
  13. Speakers Terms & Conditions
    PremC may use the speaker’s name and presentation materials for promoting delegate attendance at the conference.
    Presentations and papers including all associated artwork and illustrations will not be returned unless specifically requested by the author. The papers must be objective and completely free of advertising and commercialism.
    PremC may audio and/or video tape the speaker’s session and the recording may be reproduced and sold as part of the overall conference materials. This allows delegates to purchase audio/video copies of presentations that they may have been unable to attend.
    PremC may reproduce copies of the speaker’s presentation (eg. PowerPoint slides or supporting handouts) on paper and/or electronically and these may be sold as part of the overall hand-out materials during the conference and after the event. Any acknowledgement regarding Copyright or support should be included at the end of the abstract/presentation, as these will be distributed to the conference delegates.
    Speakers who do not wish to give permission for the above speakers terms and conditions, shall email info@premc.org before the commencement of the conference.
  14. Plagiarism and Collusion
    “Plagiarism” occurs when someone misrepresents, as his or her own work, the work, written or otherwise, of any other person or of any institution. Examples of forms of plagiarism include:
    • The verbatim (word for word) copying of another’s work without appropriate and correctly presented acknowledgement;
    • The close paraphrasing of another’s work by simply changing a few words or altering the order of presentation, without appropriate and correctly presented acknowledgement;
    • Unacknowledged quotation of phrases from another’s work;
    • The deliberate and detailed presentation of another’s concept as one’s own.
    “Another’s work” covers all material, including, for example, written work, diagrams, designs, charts and pictures, from all sources, including, for example, the internet, journals, textbooks and essays.
    “Collusion” occurs when, unless with official approval (e.g. in the case of group projects), two or more people consciously collaborate in the preparation and production of work which is ultimately submitted by each in an identical, or substantially similar, form and/or is represented by each to be the product of his or her individual efforts.
    Each participant to PremC events confirms that he has neither committed plagiarism nor collusion and he has declared all co-authors in case of collaborative work.
  15. Badges
    Conference identification badges are mandatory and will be required for admission to all conference venues and activities (including social events).
