Strategic partnership with Ifremer: innovating in virtual scientific communication

The collaboration between PremC and Ifremer (French Research Institute for Exploitation of the Sea) began in 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 crisis. Initially approached to organize a virtual event on a major foresight topic, our partnership quickly expanded to encompass all of the institute’s virtual events. Ifremer, a key player in oceanographic research, recognized our ability to create interactive and engaging virtual experiences, which were essential for maintaining their scientific communication during this period.

PremC was engaged with the following objectives:

Organize various virtual event formats, from conferences to press briefings
Set up dedicated platforms for each event
Manage technical and logistical aspects (registrations, technical support)
Graphically customize events according to Ifremer’s branding guidelines
Design and create innovative formats, such as a scientific news broadcast

Our added value

PremC demonstrated adaptability by quickly organizing press briefings (2-3 days) on oceanic topics and handling complex events like the virtual signing of an international partnership.

We innovated with a scientific news broadcast featuring custom visuals and live production, while offering tailored formats (round tables, dynamic sessions) for each event.

Our technical expertise included setting up a TV studio for professional recordings and ensuring smooth transitions during live broadcasts.

We provided comprehensive support with dedicated event platforms, registration management, and technical assistance for participants.

We particularly value our collaboration with Ifremer for its sustainable and diverse nature. Organizing more than fifteen events per year for them allows us to constantly innovate and tackle unique challenges in virtual scientific communication.
