Access to the campus:

The entrance for participants is located at 4 Pl. Jussieu, 75005 Paris

 

Metro: Line 7, stop : Jussieu, then 2-3 min walk. Line 10, stop Jussieu, then 2-3 min walk

Plane: Landing at Roissy Charles De Gaulle airport, you may:

Take the RER B from Roissy airport to Luxembourg, then the bus line 89, and you stop at Porte de France.

Landing at Orly airport, you may:

Take the shuttle “Orlyval” from the airport to Antony, then take the RER B at Antony to Luxembourg, then the bus line 89, and you stop at Porte de France.

Take the Metro 14 from the airport to “Maison Blanche”, then take the metro 7 at Maison Blanche to Jussieu, then 2-3 min walk.

Taxi: From Roissy Charles De Gaulle (CDG) airport, 50 min, From Orly airport, 30 min

Visa Requirements for Entry into France

The documentation required to enter France depends on your nationality:

  • European Union (EU), Schengen Area, and Associated Countries:

A valid passport is required, and border authorities may request proof of return travel, sufficient financial means, and accommodation details.
  • Countries Requiring a Visa:
    If you are from any other country, you must apply for a Schengen visa at the French Consulate or Embassy in your country of residence before traveling. The French authorities may require additional documents, including:
    • Proof of accommodation (hotel booking or invitation letter)
    • A confirmed round-trip ticket
    • A detailed itinerary of your stay
    • Evidence of sufficient financial means
    • Travel insurance covering medical expenses and repatriation (minimum coverage of €30,000)

  • Processing Time:
    The average visa processing time ranges between 2 and 6 weeks, depending on the time of year and application volume. It is advisable to apply well in advance to avoid delays.
