Submit your abstract through the Ex Ordo abstract submission system. You will be required to setup an account first.
Due to a limited number of slots, each participant is limited to a maximum of ONE presentation. All submissions will be reviewed based on technical merit, readability, relevance and originality.

Early bird submission – Up to March 8, 2019
First notification to authors – March 29, 2019
Early bird registration – Up to April 19, 2019
Regular submission – Up to May 17, 2019

CONTINUOUS REVIEWING METHOD
If you submit your abstract before March 8th, you should receive the notification of acceptance/rejection around Mars 29th. You will then benefit from Early Bird rates if you register before April 19th.
If you submit your abstract after March 8th, your abstract will be allocated to Scientific Committee members as soon as you submit it via the online platform. You should then receive the notification of acceptance/rejection within 4 weeks.
All notification of acceptance/rejection should be sent to authors on June 14th.
This method enables you to:
- Have enough time finalize your work and deliver a high-quality presentation.
- Apply for a VISA or a grant early enough, if needed.
- Have time to arrange your travel and accommodations
We highly advise the presenters who need VISA to access the Schengen/French territory to submit and start the VISA request process as soon as possible, it could be time-consuming. Please note that we can provide you with an invitation letter for the VISA request.
PRESENTATION TYPES
Oral presentation
Oral sessions consist of a series of individual talks. The time allocated to each oral presentation is 20 minutes including 5 minutes for questions.
Poster presentation
A poster presentation allows you to interact face to face with people interested in your research. Each poster session lasts 2 hours. Posters should be no larger than A0 (84 cm wide by 119 cm long) in portrait format (landscape format is not allowed).
PUBLICATION
All accepted abstracts will be scheduled for oral or poster presentation and will be compiled in PDF format. A digital version of the book of abstracts will be available online.
FULL PAPERS PUBLICATION
All authors with accepted abstract will be able to submit the corresponding full papers for publication in the conference proceedings. The partner Journals will be the Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Material.
We are delighted to announce a partnership between the Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, and the 2019 International Conference on Magnetic Fluids (ICMF). Participants of the ICMF19 will be invited to submit their contributions to the special issue “Selected Papers of the 15th International Conference on Magnetic Fluids”. Note that all the contributions would undergo the standard journal peer-review procedure and your contribution will not be considered if you do not attend ICMF19 personally.
