ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Extended Submission

To present a research at NANOP 2016, you have to submit your abstract through the platform abstract management system. You will be first required to setup an account on the submission platform:

Submissions will be reviewed based on technical merit, readability, relevance and originality. The authors of outstanding papers will be offered the opportunity to participate to the conference as invited talks.

PRESENTATION TYPES

Oral presentation

Oral sessions consist of a series of individual talks. The time allocated to each oral presentation is 15 minutes including 3 minutes for questions

Poster presentation

A poster presentation allows you to interact face to face with people interested in your research. Posters should be no larger than A0 (84 cm wide by 119 cm long) in portrait format (landscape format is not allowed).

Workshop presentation

Workshop presentations are interactive skills-based discussions that last 60 minutes. Workshops must be interactive, and include practical information that participants can bring back to their communities.

Video presentation

If you are unable to attend the conference, but still wish to have your paper presented and published, we offer on-line presentation. Your presentation will be uploaded on the conference website prior to the conference. You are still required to submit an abstract and one author must pay the registration fee. At the end of the conference, you will receive a certificate of presentation and the digital book of abstracts.

Extended Submission:

You can still submit your abstract for NANOP 2016. You should receive your notification of acceptance/rejection within 15 days.

BOOK OF ABSTRACTS

All accepted abstracts will be scheduled for oral, poster or workshop presentation and will be compiled in PDF format. A digital version of the book of abstracts will be available online.

FULL PAPERS PUBLICATION

Once your abstract has been accepted by the Scientific Committee you can choose whether to submit your full paper for publication or not.

The conference proceedings will be published by the European Physical Journal of EDP Sciences.

NANOP 2016 is delighted to announce the open access European Physical Journal (SCOPUS-indexed) has been chosen as its publication partner this year.

Only authors whose abstracts have been accepted by NANOP 2016 Scientific Committee can submit the corresponding full paper to be considered for the Conference Proceedings.

The full papers must be submitted and reviewed via the Ex Ordo online system. Once the reviewing process is completed, the result will be notified to the author. The authors are required to follow the referees’ recommendations in order to improve their paper before the final submission. Authors who are accepted must comply with the following guidelines when submitting their final version:

Please notice that any extra cost due to submission error will be in charge of the author. The license agreement must be filled and sent with the final version of the manuscript to nanop2016@premc.org before the final version due deadline (see below).

The Scientific Committee will notify the authors of the best abstracts who will have the opportunity to submit the corresponding full paper separately to be published in the Nanophotonics Journal edited by De Gruyter.

We are delighted to announce a partnership between the De Gruyter, peer-reviewed, open access journal Nanophotonics (5-year IMPACT FACTOR: 5.372) and the Nanophotonics and Micro/Nano Optics International Conference 2016 (NANOP 2016).

Authors of the 20 best abstracts submitted to the Conference are encouraged to submit their paper to form part of a Special Collection in the Nanophotonics journal. The publication fees will be waived for the 5 best abstracts.
