Getting there from the Centro de Congressos de Lisboa

  • Walk approximately 10 minutes to Alameda metro station.
  • Take the Metro (Green Line) towards Cais do Sodré.
  • Get off at Martim Moniz (Alternatively, you can take Bus 708 from the “Alameda D. A. Henriques” stop directly to Martim Moniz).
  • Walk approximately 5 minutes and arrive at Praça Martim Moniz, the official departure square for Tram 28.

Price: From €3.10 (single ticket onboard) or €1.80 (with a prepaid Viva Viagem card).

  • Take the public lifts (Elevador da Baixa and Elevador do Castelo) or enjoy a 20 minute uphill walk through the picturesque Alfama alleys to the castle entrance.

  • Option B (Train): Enter the train station, take the Suburban Train towards Cascais, get off at Belém station, and enjoy a scenic 20-minute walk through the riverside gardens to the docks.
