Quantum Technology International Conference 2018

The growing ability to manipulate quantum systems is paving the way for a second quantum revolution and a number of initiatives worldwide have been formed to foster quantum technologies. These exciting novel applications are exploiting specific quantum properties which are not accessible with classical resources such as superposition and entanglement of individual quantum systems.

The objectives of the QTech conference is to present the latest developments of quantum technologies in the domains of quantum communication, computation, simulation, sensors and metrology, and their implementation using various platforms from atoms and ions to solid states, superconducting circuits and optics.

  • TOPICS
  • Quantum information processing and computing
  • Quantum simulation
  • Quantum sensors and quantum metrology
  • Quantum communication
  • Quantum networks and repeaters
  • Fundamental science for quantum technologies
  • Quantum optics and non-classical light sources
  • Quantum light-matter interfaces and memories
  • Solid states and hybrid systems
  • Quantum non-linear optics

FULL PAPERS PUBLICATION

All authors with accepted abstract will be able to submit the corresponding full papers for publication in the conference proceedings. More opportunities will be announced soon.

The conference proceedings will be published by the European Physical Journal of EDP Sciences.

QTech 2018 is delighted to announce the open access European Physical Journal (SCOPUS-indexed) has been chosen as its publication partner this year.

Only authors whose abstracts have been accepted by QTech 2018 Scientific Committee can submit the corresponding full paper to be considered for the Conference Proceedings.

The full papers must be submitted and reviewed via the Ex Ordo online system. Once the reviewing process is completed, the result will be notified to the author. The authors are required to follow the referees’ recommendations in order to improve their paper before the final submission. Authors who are accepted must comply with the following guidelines when submitting their final version:

Type of the document: http://www.epj-conferences.org/doc_journal/instructions/epjconf_instructions.pdf

Please notice that any extra cost due to submission error will be in charge of the author. The license agreement must be filled and sent with the final version of the manuscript to qtech2018@premc.org before the final version due deadline (see below).

Important dates:

  • Submission of manuscripts start: Sept 17, 2018
  • Submission of manuscripts end: Oct 17, 2018
  • Notification to authors deadline: Nov 27, 2018
  • Final versions due deadline: Dec 07, 2018
