FAQ : RMRM 2020

Before reading this FAQ, we kindly invite you to read the instructions for participants where you will find most of the needed information. Also, we kindly invite you to read our tutorial How to use ZOOM, which explains step by step the process.

What is a dashboard ?

The dashboard gives you access to the different areas of an usual conference. This is supposed to be the lobby of your conference. You will have access to all Oral Presentation Rooms, the Networking Area during breaks, and the Welcome Desk.

How do I know which room I have to join to see a speech?

On the program, you will see the name of the room where the speech is given (“room 1”, “room 2”,…).

What are the differences between the different networking rooms?

Every day, you get the opportunity to talk with speakers you have previously seen in the main room via the Q&A rooms. You can also participate in special networking activities like beer & Juice rooms, PhD open positions rooms and Game rooms.

I'm not living in the MST zone, how do I know at which time a given speech is being presented?

Do I need to install ZOOM to use it?

You don’t need to install ZOOM to use it, you can have access to the RMRM 2020 rooms via your browser.

How can I arrange a meeting with an another participant in a ZOOM room to network?

We recommend you to use the conference networking app, you will have access to a chat where you can arrange a time and choose a Beer & Juice Room to meet.

How can I join a room?

On the dashboard, you will see buttons named “Click to join room”…, by clicking on it, you will be redirected to a ZOOM room, that you will be able to have access from your browser or the ZOOM application.

I need a password to have access to the Oral Presentation Rooms, where can I find it?

You will receive the password by email from the RMRM committee.

How do I access the RMRM 2020 participants list prior to the conference?

An application will be set up to access the participants list for the conference, you will receive an invitation by email to set up your account.

How can I get assistance from the conference staff?

The staff would be glad to help you if you are facing any technical issue, you can reach us at any time at rmrm2020@premc.org. A welcome desk room will be also available from 7:30 A.M (MST) to the end of the conference day. to provide you with face-to-face help. If you are not able to use ZOOM at all, there will be a chat available on the right bottom corner of the Dashboard page.

Do I need a ZOOM account?

You don’t need an account. You will receive by email a password which gives you access to the RMRM2020 rooms.
