The company manufactures cationic polymers for gene therapy, bioproduction companies, biotechnology platforms, and research academic laboratories. PTG1 and PTG3 are cationic polymers that provide highly efficient, low-toxic DNA transfections from different types of mammalian cells. POLYTHERAGENE also manufactures triblock copolymers (PTG2) that do not contain poly(propylene oxide) block and poly(ethylene oxide) blocks. PTG2 allows solubilization of very hydrophobic drugs improving their biological activity by 2 orders of magnitude.
