Le SIRIC EpiCURE

​SIRIC-EpiCure is a scientific program of excellence with the ambition of integrating fundamental, translational and clinical aspects of the epigenetics field in the same research continuum, in order to optimize prompt implementation to patient care. This new program benefits from a unique scientific environment, gathering one of the best worldwide cancer center (Gustave Roussy), first class academic laboratories from national research organizations (INSERM/CNRS), as well as a top 15 university in Shanghai ranking (Paris Saclay University). Fostering interactions from basic to clinical research, EpiCure is designed in a medical need-centered approach, with the ultimate goal of boosting bench-to-bedside and bedside-to-bench innovations. It coherently answers the main missions of a SIRIC (Site of Integrated Research in Cancerology; https://en.e-cancer.fr/ ;  https://www.e-cancer.fr/Professionnels-de-la-recherche/Recherche-translationnelle/Les-SIRIC ):

By promoting a permanent dialogue between clinical- and bench-based research, EpiCure will play a key role for the integration of epigenetic approaches in the landscape of new cancer therapeutics.
