Young Researchers Symposium – Satellite Event of the B4 2026 Conference
As a satellite event of the Barcelona Blood-Brain Barrier Conference 2026, the Young Researchers Symposium will bring together early-career scientists for a full day of exchange, inspiration, and community in the heart of Barcelona. Created as a space specifically for young BBB researchers, the symposium will feature a lively programme including an open science session, science speed dating and ice-breaking activities, speed talks by PhD candidates, expert perspectives from academia and industry, and a round table discussion. Hosted by the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia (IBEC) and the Institut Químic de Sarrià (IQS), this 3rd edition of the symposium aims to encourage new connections, fresh ideas, and meaningful conversations in a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere. Taking place just before the main B4 2026 conference, the event offers a unique opportunity to meet peers, share your research, explore future career paths, and become part of a growing community of young scientists shaping the future of BBB research.
