Venue

B4 conference 2026 will be held in Barcelona (Spain), at the Parc de Recerca Biomèdica de Barcelona (PRBB).

Access to Parc de Recerca Biomèdica de Barcelona PRBB​:

The venue is located at Carrer del Doctor Aiguader, 88, Ciutat Vella, 08003 Barcelona, Spain

Access from Barcelona city center

Metro line: Take the L4 line (Yellow Line) towards “La Pau” and get off at “Barceloneta” station.
From there, walk approximately 8–10 minutes to PRBB.

Bus line: Take the line V15 and get off at “Pg Marítim – Hospital del Mar” OR take the line 47 and get off at “Hospital del Mar”.
Both stops are located a short walk distance (2-5 minutes) from PRBB. 

Access from Josep Tarradellas Barcelona–El Prat Airport

Train + Metro
  • Train (R2 Nord): Take the R2 Nord train to “Passeig de Gràcia” station.
  • Metro (Line 4 – L4): From “Passeig de Gràcia”, take L4 (Yellow Line) towards “La Pau” and get off at “Barceloneta”.
    Walk 8–10 minutes to PRBB.

 

Aerobús + Metro
  • Aerobús: Take the Aerobús to “Plaça Catalunya“.
  • Metro (Line 4 – L4): From “Urquinaona” (5 min walk from Plaça Catalunya), take L4 towards “La Pau” and get off at “Barceloneta”.
Metro
  • Line 9 South (L9S): Take L9 Sud to “Collblanc“.
  • Transfer: At “Collblanc”, switch to Line 5 (L5) towards “Vall d’Hebron” and get off at “Diagonal”.
  • Metro (Line 4 – L4): From “Diagonal”, transfer to L4 towards “La Pau” and get off at “Barceloneta”.

VISA

The documentation you need to enter Spain will depend greatly on where you are coming from:

  • If you are a citizen of any nation in the European Union, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, or Liechtenstein, you will only need your National Identification Document or a current passport. For minors, the National Identification Document must be accompanied by written parental permission.
  • If you are from Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, El Salvador, the United States, Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Panama, Paraguay, the Republic of Korea, Romania, San Marino, the Vatican, Singapore, Uruguay, or Venezuela, you will need to show a valid passport to enter Spain. Your stay may not exceed 90 days.
  • If you are coming from any other country, in accordance with EU regulations, you must apply for a visa at the Spanish Consulate for your country. You must also show an official passport. In this case, Spanish authorities may require proof of accommodation, reservation confirmation by an official travel agency, a return ticket, tour agenda, or personal invitation. Likewise, you may be required to provide proof of sufficient funds, to cover your stay in Spain. As the conditions stated above may vary, in case you need a visa please contact the Spanish Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence to ensure you meet all requirements before traveling.

It is the responsibility of each participant to obtain a visa if necessary.

The average time for obtaining a visa can be between two and six weeks, depending on the application date.
