The presenter selection process of this edition will be based on full papers. Submit your paper through the online submission system. You will be required to setup an account first.

All submissions will be reviewed based on technical merit, readability, relevance and originality.

Deadlines

Early bird submission - June 3, 2020
Early bird registration - July 3, 2020
Regular Submission - September 9, 2020
Regular Registration - October 9, 2020
Conference - November 25 - 27, 2020

CONTINUOUS REVIEWING METHOD

If you submit your paper before June 3, you should receive the notification of acceptance/rejection on June 17th. You will then benefit from Early Bird rates if you register before July 3.

If you submit your paper after June 3, your paper will be allocated to Scientific Committee members as soon as you submit it via the online platform. You should then receive the notification of acceptance/rejection within 4 weeks.

All notification of acceptance/rejection should be sent to authors on September 21th.

This method enables you to:

Have enough time finalize your work and deliver a high-quality presentation.
Apply for a VISA or a grant early enough, if needed.
Have time to arrange your travel and accommodations.

PRESENTATION TYPES

Oral presentation

Oral sessions consist of a series of individual talks. The time allocated to each oral presentation is 15 minutes including 3 minutes for questions

Workshop presentation

Workshop presentations are interactive skills-based discussions that last 40 minutes. Workshops must be interactive, and include practical information that participants can bring back to their communities.

Poster presentation

A poster presentation allows you to interact face to face with people interested in your research. Each poster session lasts around 1 hour. Posters should be no larger than A0 (84 cm wide by 119 cm long) in portrait format (landscape format is not allowed).

Virtual presentation

If you are unable to attend the conference, but still wish to have your paper presented and published, we offer on-line presentation. Your presentation will be uploaded on the conference website prior to the conference. You are still required to submit an abstract and one author must pay the registration fee. At the end of the conference, you will receive a certificate of presentation and the digital conference proceedings.

PUBLICATION

All accepted papers will be scheduled for oral, poster or workshop presentation and will be compiled in PDF format. A digital version of the proceedings will be available online.

FULL PAPERS PUBLICATION

All authors with accepted paper will be able to submit the corresponding full papers for publication in the conference proceedings.

A Special Issue will be published by the Journal Energies – MDPI (a minimum of 10 submitted and accepted full papers is required): 

We are delighted to announce a partnership between the Journal Energies – MDPI (IF: 2.262), open access journal, and 2020International Conference on Renewable Energy (ICREN). Authors who present their work during the Conference are invited to submit therelated full paper to form part of a Special Issue of the Journal Energies. The publication fees will be discounted by 25% forICREN 2020 participants. A minimum of 10 submitted and accepted full papers is required for this Special Issue.

The conference proceedings will be published by the Environment, Energy and Earth Sciences Journal (EDP Sciences):

We are delighted to announce that the SCOPUS-indexed Environment, Energy and Earth Sciences Journal has been chosen as its publication partner this year.

During the registration process, you will be requested to indicate wheter you want to publish your paper in the special issue or not. The publication of your paper will cost you an extra 50 €. The paper used during your submission will be the one considered for the publication.

Once the conference is over, the interested authors will recieve a feedback from the reviewers. The authors are required to follow the referees’ recommendations in order to improve their paper and provide us with the final version.
