L’Institut de biologie Paris-Seine

L’institut de biologie Paris-Seine (IBPS – UAR 3631), established in 2014, is a center of excellence in biology within Sorbonne University. Located on the Pierre and Marie Curie campus of Sorbonne University, it brings together over 500 researchers, engineers, and technicians across four research units and seven technological platforms. Formed through a partnership between the CNRS, Sorbonne University, and INSERM, IBPS is dedicated to addressing major challenges such as the environment, aging, as well as neurodegenerative and behavioral diseases. It promotes an interdisciplinary approach, combining biology, computer science, mathematics, and physics, to develop innovative methodologies and advance scientific knowledge.
