Welcome to the National Information Platform for Nutrition (NIPN) Online Global Gathering 2021
“Strengthening NIPN approach into the national multi-sectoral governance for nutrition”

Launched in 2015 by the European Union, the National Information Platforms for Nutrition (NIPN) initiative has the goal to support partner countries of the global SUN movement in their progress towards the Agenda 2030 for SDG 2: “End hunger, achieve food security, improved nutrition, and promotion of sustainable agriculture.”

Working beyond the NIPN core teams and institutions, reaching out to higher-level decision-makers, and supporting multi-sectoral coordination mechanisms is challenging but also instrumental for the success and sustainability of the platforms.

The NIPN Global Gathering in 2021 aims at strengthening the platforms’ linkages with multi-sectoral governance for nutrition through sharing of experiences in a more systematic and deliberate way.

For any questions about NIPN, please consult the website http://www.nipn-nutrition-platforms.org/ or get in touch directly through NIPN-C4N@giz.de.

Start networking before the conference!

In order to ease the communication and networking with the other attendees, you will have access to an online chat platform. This chat will be divided into several channels with different topics and will keep the discussion history.

Just click on the button below to ask questions to the speakers outside the sessions, no installation is needed but you will have to ask for permission to join first.

If you have already visited this webpage in the past, we highly recommend refreshing the page in order to get the latest updates.

How does it work?

This dashboard has been built with the target of duplicating the same environment as an in-person conference, you will find below the usual conference areas: welcome desk, conference rooms, and networking rooms…
Each participant will be able to join the area she/he is interested in by simply clicking on the corresponding button.

It is very important to keep a maximum of human interactions, that is why a welcome desk room where you can talk with a staff member is available to help you.
If you encounter any technical issue to connect to the welcome desk room then use the chat room, it should appear on the bottom right corner of this page during the conference days.

The conference is launched on 18 March at 9:30am (CET). The Individual Working Sessions is from 22 to 25 March starting every day at 9:30am (CET).
