Nanophotonics 2018: the ubiquitous science.
Nanophotonics in the last years is showing clearly its inclusive nature. Several disciplines are taking advantages in using novel tools derived from the astonishing progress in Nanophotonics, for exploring novel fundamental properties of materials on different length scale. The optical methods, both experimental and theoretical, are ubiquitous in several fields facilitating the development of a common language even for disciplines considered far, just a few years ago.
This third edition of NANOP confirms a broad topics list with the aim of bridging the macro with the molecular world.

You are invited to submit the corresponding full paper to be reviewed and published in the Nanophotonics Journal edited by De Gruyter. We are delighted to announce a partnership between the De Gruyter, peer-reviewed, open access journal Nanophotonics (5-year IMPACT FACTOR: 5.372) and the Nanophotonics and Micro/Nano Optics International Conference 2018 (NANOP 2018). Authors of the selected abstracts submitted to the Conference are encouraged to submit their paper to form part of a Special Collection in the Nanophotonics journal. The publication fees will be waived for the 5 best abstracts. Important deadlines For full details on how to submit your paper to the journal, please refer to the Manuscript Submission Guidelines. When submitting your paper, please indicate that the paper is to be considered for this Special Collection. All papers will be peer-reviewed following the usual review process and criteria of the Nanophotonics journal. A special issue will be published by Open Material Sciences. We are delighted to announce a partnership with the Open Material Sciences journal (a new open access journal published by De Gruyter). Authors who present their work during the Conference are invited to submit the related full paper to form part of a Special Issue of the Open Material Sciences journal. The publication is free of charge for NANOP 2018 participants. ACS Photonics & NANOP 2018 are delighted to invite you to submit nominations for the Young Investigator Award Lectureship. This award honors the contributions of an individual within the first 5-10 years of an independent research career who has made major impacts on the field of photonics. To foster international collaboration, nominations for this award are open to scientists from around the world. The winner will present his or her research accomplishments during one of the plenary sessions at the Nanophotonics and Micro/Nano Optics International Conference 2018 (NANOP 2018) in Rome, Italy, October 1-3, 2018.
The 2018 Winner will Receive:
